The Catalytic Impact of the Historic Tax Credit
January 9, 2015Recently the National Trust for Historic Preservation released a study by PlaceEconomics that shows, for the first time, a link between Historic Tax Credit investments and revitalization of the surrounding community. The report uses six case studies of large and small projects in three states to demonstrate that the initial investments spurred additional economic activity by owners in the surrounding community.
