Historic Tax Credit Impact Maps Released

October 13, 2016

The Historic Tax Credit Coalition and the National Trust for Historic Preservation have developed a series of maps that may be utilized when explaining the impact of the Federal Historic Tax Credit Program. These maps and project lists depict Federal Historic Tax Credit projects that received Part 3 certifications from the National Park Service (NPS) between the years 2002–2015.

State impact maps and a selection of impact maps for various congressional districts may be found attached to this page. We are diligently working to expand the number of maps and project lists available and will be adding new content as it is produced.

In addition, Novogradac & Company, a member of the Historic Tax Credit Coalition, has created an interactive mapping tool.  Using this tool, anyone can search for all of the Federal Historic Tax Credit projects in a given state, congressional district or specific geography.  This tool reflects historic tax credit investments made from 2001 through 2015 based on Part 3 data from the National Park Service. The congressional district boundaries shown are based on those set for November 2014 election and members are accurate as of January 2016.
